Overseas Team Medic (OTM)


Course length

This is a six day, classroom based, medical training course which can be undertaken on location or at our training centre in Bakewell.

Course aim

To train personnel involved in overseas work and travel, working in areas with limited medical facilities, to effectively manage medical emergencies and casualty evacuation situations.

This course is ideally suited to those organisations that are working in emergency relief or the exploration industries where there are limited medical support services in their country of operations.

Who is it for?

The course is designed for any person involved in overseas work and travel or who is involved in providing primary and emergency health care to their staff and is required to produce guidelines, procedures and protocols for dealing with a medical emergency or evacuation.
